1st Regional Workshop - "Capacity Building for Sustainable Health Care Programs in South - Eastern Europe
What keeps effective public health programs and healthcare reforms sustained over time?
- Identifying and disseminating examples of good practice to improve population’s health at the regional and local levels are essential for progress in health care.
- During this workshop we would like to point out that the sustainability at the same time is associated with the implementation process.
Workshop objectives:
- To present the current situation in public health care in the SEE Region;
- To help countries to build or strengthen National Public Strategies, focusing on the implementation of strategies in the reform of the healthcare system;
- To work with regional countries to encourage innovation in healthcare and increase the sustainability of health systems;
- To present successful examples of public health and health care reform projects in Croatia which could be transferred and implemented for the country in the SEE region;
- To exchange experiences, new ideas and technologies for sustainable healthcare programs in SEE;
- To promote regional project(s) and common actions in the area of for sustainable health care programs in SEE Region;
- To strengthen network of public health research institutions in the SEE Region;
- To enhance regional cooperation and formalize international cooperation;
- To stimulate cooperation between the partners and strengthen the sustainability of EU-funded projects in EU countries and non-EU countries,
- To develop partnerships for the sustainable evidence based programs in SEE
